My grandpa has alzheimers?

Irene Asked: My grandpa has alzheimers?

My grandpa is sadly in the stage where he doesnt recognize many people, he can walk and talk good. I just wanna know if anyone has any clue why he is soo attached to my grandma. He is always asking for her after 3/4 hours hes woken up. He follows her everywhere and he gets in her way! Why is he soo attached to her?

She's probably the only person he remembers clearly.

That's so interesting- my grandpa is the same exact way! Maybe it comes down to true love and he just knows she's been there for him for as long as he can remember.

Morgan Answered:
It's probably true love. He probably remembers all the good times they've had

He remembers grandma and has good feelings from her, like a security blanket, he feels secure around her.

Mags D Answered:
Because he has spent more of his life with her than with any other human being.
